Hostess was great. We had two 2 bedroom apartments next to each other on the second floor. The roof top terrace will give you one of the best viewpoints in town.. We had a bbq on the rooftop terrace and it was perfect for hosting the new friends we had met. Response from Torre Mar Galapagos Boutique Suites Hotel Thank you so much for the kind words. We are always happy when our guests enjoy their stay at Torre Mar. I agree, the view from the terrace is wonderful. Our stay here was amazing. Donna and John could not have been nicer or more accommodating. My boys loved becoming friends with their son Donovan too! The location was perfect we could walk to everything. I’ve traveled to the Galapagos twice and both times we stayed at Torre Mar — an amazing experience both times. John & Donna are great hosts and so helpful when you’re trying to plan and navigate the islands. Highly recommended if you’;re doing a land-based experience in the Galapagos!! Suddenly a week before we arrived, I realized I had not reserved any excursions. Donna, owner of Torre Mar, saved the day. She was so helpful. Plus great company up on the fantastic 4th floor deck. Fabulous experience at Torre Mar!
Staying at Torre Mar was the smartest move I could have made for this trip of a lifetime. The hotel is charming, clean, conveniently located, and our suite was so large and comfortable! Donna and John helped us figure everything out, from which tours to take to where to get covid tests before flying home to the best ice cream on town. The room was well equipped with soaps, kitchen supplies, towels, beach towels, shopping bags. I can’t say enough about this wonderful hotel!
